Pro-Start Restaurant Management

Program Description:

Students pursuing a career in the food industry will gain knowledge and skills through the Pro-Start curriculum.  Students will discover the basic and advanced skills required in food preparation and service, principles of food identification, food and beverage composition, nutrition, and dietetics.  Throughout the courses, students will gain authentic experiences by setting up, planning, preparing, and hosting various school events requiring catering and/or food services.
