  Spring Valley High School opened August 1998 with an enrollment of 1,186 students.  Spring Valley was created through the consolidation of Buffalo, Ceredo-Kenova, and Vinson High Schools.

  Athletic Association: Mountain State Athletic Conference (Class - AAA)  
     
  Spring Valley High School, located in Huntington, West Virginia, serves the Wayne County communities of Buffalo, Ceredo-Kenova, and Westmoreland.  Spring Valley High opened its doors in 1998 and was classified as a comprehensive high school, meaning it serves as a high school and a career and technical education center.  The Spring Valley campus offers an array of programs designed to meet individual academic needs and goals.
