Advisor-Advisee Program Beginning!

Students and Parents,

Spring Valley is very excited to announce the start of Advisor-Advisee program and during school club-time  this semester.  The first three Tuesdays of every month students will report to homeroom between 2nd and 3rd period and have Advisor-Advisee classes. This will provide each student with an adult advocate, advisor, and mentor that will take an interest in each student’s successful learning, goal setting, career planning and personal growth.

FREE Wolf Pack shirts for students!

All students who come to the Boys Basketball game this Thursday or Saturday will receive a FREE Wolf Pack t-shirt which will allow you to get in every home game for the entire season. This shirt will serve as your ticket for both the boys’ games and the girls’ games. Students must attend one or both of these games in order to get your shirt.

Stacy takes player of the year, other SVHS players selected to HD all football team

Congratulations to Trevor Stacy who was named the Herald Dispatch Football Player of the Year! He was also named to their first team selections (offensive line) where he was joined by SVHS QB Tyler Brown (Utility player).
SVHS football also had several second team selections: Kody Riggs (Offensive Line), Mason Brubeck (wide receiver) and Ricky Willis (Defensive Line).
Great job young men on being selected!
We should also give a shout-out to the entire 7-4 playoff team for giving us such a memorable season and playing their hearts out all season long!

Cheerleaders take third in the states!

Congratulations to the SVHS cheerleaders who placed THIRD in the State tournament this weekend with a score of 324.7. Wheeling Park and Brooke placed first and second respectively. Coach Heather Morrone states that “These kids have put everything they have into this team. I am beyond proud.” Everybody at SVHS is immensely proud of our amazing cheerleading squad and the countless hours of work they put in.
