SOAR students visit MU anatomy lab

Spring Valley SOAR students recently visited the Marshall University gross anatomy lab (also known as the cadaver lab) at the VA hospital. Students received hands-on learning experiences delivered by medical experts.

The SOAR (Science Occupations Academic Research) club seeks to expose students from the southern WV coal fields to science-related jobs. Many Spring Valley SOAR students aspire to go to medical school.

SVHS SOAR club visits the MU anatomy lab at the Huntington VA.

Ms. Eastham and Ms. Fischer, both science teachers at Spring Valley High School, sponsor the SVHS SOAR club.
