Apply for the Promise Scholarship after October 1, 2023! Deadline is March 1, 2024.
All applicants MUST submit a completed 2024-25 FAFSA by the March 1, 2024 to be eligible. A student’s FAFSA must meet the conditions for processing by the March 1 deadline.
The 2024-25 FAFSA becomes available December 2023.
Attention all Seniors -- Remember to fill out your FAFSA to see if you qualify for free money to pay for your post-secondary education! Your family doesn’t have to have a low income to qualify for assistance. Even if your family makes $200,000 a year, you could be eligible for aid!

Use the Common App to get connected with everything you need to apply to college, research financial aid and scholarships, and get advice from counselors, advisors and mentors.
Visit the College For West Virginia (CFWV) website and create an account to take career assessments, explore various careers, research colleges, and to access a Scholarship Database where you can type in keywords and browse many scholarships you can apply for!
Main Scholarship List - This will take you to a page that lists various Scholarships by career interest and career clusters. Updated often as new scholarships come in!
List of LOCAL Scholarships - This page lists local scholarships that are offered within our community. This page will be updated as we receive these scholarships. Most LOCAL Scholarships are posted in the Spring.
FAFSA Information and Help Guide - This page offers important information, a link to fill out the FASFA, as well as a Help Guide that walks you through how to fill out the FAFSA.
List of Scholarship Search Engines - This page offers many links to websites students can use to do scholarship searches.
