Meet our newest Spring Valley High School instructor Mr. Joseph Jervis! He will be teaching our brand new CTE program Aviation Maintenance Technology. This week Mr. Jervis is attending training on the nationally acclaimed Choose Aerospace curriculum that he will bring back to our students in the new school year.
Mr. Jervis is very knowledgeable having spent his entire career in the industry and is very excited to deliver this program to our students.
Careers in Aviation Maintenance Tech typically start out in 50-70k range and top out over 150k. The skill sets learned in this career are in very high-demand.

Congratulations to Lauren Hutchison for winning the prestigious Smith-Underwood Teaching Scholarship!
Lauren will receive $40,000 with this scholarship over the course of her undergraduate education.
The Underwood-Smith Teaching Scholars Program is a competitive scholarship for recent high school graduates with a passion for teaching and a history of high academic achievement, community service, and active involvement in extracurricular activities while in high school.
